Established in 1990 by Jan Reading, M & J Underground is a family owned and operated business whose purpose is to serve our customer with swift and superior service. M & J Underground is a full union company with the objective to serve our surrounding communities with site utility and underground construction services.

We have built our customer base through hard work and determination, something which has allowed us to become the company we are today. We take great pride in providing you with top level service and promise complete satisfaction when choosing us for all of your septic needs.

We are affiliated with and certified by the following organizations:  International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150, Construction & General Laborers’ District Council of Chicago & Vicinity Local 5 and IDOT certified sub-contractor. Also with the  State of Illinois.
